I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday. I was on the East Coat visiting my family and returned home this afternoon.
If you've been shopping all day today, then you're a stronger person than I. I'm not that much of a shopper - trying to find a decent parking spot, having to walk for miles in walls and stores, and standing in line and the lugging all my purchases around. On-line shopping is the best thing that every happened as far as I'm concerned.
To make things easier for the rest of you, here's some suggestions from my latest favorite shopping place -- etsy.
My husband liked it so much, I was worried he was going to steal it from me. And then I found that ChristineRenee put together a entire Zombie Gift Set.
Look -- you get the book and a T-shirt:
And as if that wasn't enough -- there's buttons and stickers!!!!
Okay - so you're not here for zombie stuff. Okay -- how about some knitting stuff???
From sunneshine's etsy shop - adorable Sheep Stitch Markers and Crocodile Row Counter. Packaged in a lovely bag with a delightful note. It doesn't get much better than that.
Not into knitting accessories? How about some yarn and roving? From WoolHandCrafts, aka Grand View Farm.
The yarn is 2-ply Romney wool. My picture doesn't show the yarn's great colors, nor does it give you the great softness. You can look at the picture in the etsy shop (and bonus picture of the sheep it came from!!!)
Still not happy? You're here for the dogs? Okay -- the roving isn't really for me. It is part of a kit to make a felted ball. I keep seeing felted toys for dogs at dog shows that cost a small fortune and with my dogs of destruction -- it wasn't worth the risk. But here, I can try making my own toy and see how it fairs. The Felt Your Own Ball Kit.
They also had some great Organic Dog Treats. I need to order more because my guys just when crazy for them.
The best part about this shop is that everything is made by them from their own animals and they use the profits for the care of those animals.
Next time -- gift suggestions!
